1. Scope and operator
Spartacus History is an owner-operated educational media workflow within Forge Product Lab. This policy applies to the Spartacus website, desktop production workflow, connected social-platform integrations, and related support requests.
2. Information processed
Depending on the feature used, Spartacus may process:
- Basic connected-account information supplied by TikTok, such as display name, avatar, and account identifier
- OAuth access and refresh tokens stored in restricted local secret storage
- Original scripts, source references, narration, video files, captions, subtitles, and publishing settings
- Owner approvals, upload identifiers, status checks, error records, and verification receipts
- Support information deliberately supplied to Forge Product Lab
3. How information is used
- Connect the authorized Spartacus social account
- Prepare and validate educational media packages
- Display creator settings before an owner-approved upload
- Transfer an approved video and confirm its processing status
- Protect the workflow from duplicate, unauthorized, or malformed actions
- Diagnose failures and respond to support requests
4. TikTok data
Spartacus requests only the TikTok permissions shown during authorization. Basic account data is used to confirm that the intended account is connected. Publishing permission is used only after the owner reviews the completed package and explicitly approves its transfer. Spartacus does not sell TikTok data, use it for advertising profiles, or disclose it to unrelated parties.
5. Storage and security
Credentials and refresh tokens are not displayed publicly and are kept in restricted local secret storage. Production records are limited to what is needed for research, review, publishing safety, status reconciliation, and support. Encrypted connections, scoped credentials, validation, audit records, and bounded retries are used to reduce risk.
6. Service providers
TikTok processes account authorization and publication. Forge Product Lab may use infrastructure and support providers described in the Forge Product Lab Privacy Policy. Providers receive only the information reasonably required for their function.
7. Retention and deletion
Integration data is retained only while it is needed for the connected workflow, security, reconciliation, support, or legal obligations. The owner may disconnect TikTok, revoke authorization in TikTok, and request deletion through the Spartacus data-deletion page.
8. Children
The production workflow is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
