Products and permissions

• Login Kit identifies and authorizes the connected TikTok account.
• user.info.basic supplies limited account information used to confirm the intended creator.
• Content Posting API transfers a completed video to TikTok.
• video.publish is requested only for the owner-approved Direct Post workflow.

End-to-end owner flow

1. The owner opens the private Spartacus desktop setup screen.
2. The owner chooses Connect TikTok and completes TikTok authorization.
3. Spartacus confirms the connected account and retrieves current creator settings.
4. A completed historical video package is presented with sources, rights status, caption, subtitles, disclosures, and privacy options.
5. The owner reviews the package and explicitly approves or declines it.
6. Only an approved package is transferred to TikTok.
7. Spartacus checks the resulting status and records the outcome without equating submission with successful public publication.

Content and disclosure controls

Before approval, the workflow shows the final caption, privacy setting, comment, Duet and Stitch controls, commercial-content disclosures when applicable, and an AI-generated-content disclosure when applicable. The choices available to the owner are constrained to the options returned for the connected account.

What Spartacus does not do

• It does not connect unrelated users or publish to accounts the owner does not control.
• It does not publish solely because a script, model, or agent says a video is ready.
• It does not scrape TikTok profiles, comments, followers, or private data.
• It does not sell TikTok data or use it to build advertising profiles.
• It does not hide paid, promotional, or AI-generated content disclosures when they apply.

Disconnecting and deletion

The owner can revoke Spartacus access through TikTok's account settings and may request deletion of associated integration data through the data-deletion page.
